Jaipur City Palace

One of the main tourist fascinations in Jaipur city’s heart is City Palace. Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh led to the foundation of this palace having stunning model of architecture.

The premises consists numerous buildings like -

Chandra Mahal/ Moon Palace: It itself is a seven storied building; each storey has one or more inimitable things like museum, collection of arts, traditional paintings, old weapons, mirror walls and floral decoration etc.

Badal Mahal: It is located just opposite to Chandra Mahal with fine-looking gardens. Middle of both Mahal lies Shri Govind Dev Temple

Mubarak Mahal: It was built by Maharaja Madho Singh II, It contains the textile sections of Maharaja.

The palace also encloses Diwan-I-Khas and Diwan-I-Aam called as hall of private and public audience. Here two outsized silver eye catching vessels are present.

How to Reach?

Airways : Jaipur is connected to all major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Varanasi by domestic airways.
Roadways : Buses are available from Delhi, Gujarat and Rajasthan.
Railways : Well connected to all the parts of the country.
