Amber Fort, JaipurThe Amber Fort is by far one of the great monumental pieces erected in the Amber Region of Jaipur. It is so unique in both style and expression as it is constructed from red sandstone and marble with intricate details throughout. Amber used to once be the capital city for the Kachhwaha Family but then later on in 1727 the capital was moved to Jaipur. The construction began in the reign of Raja Man Singh I but wasn’t completed in its entirety until Raja Jal Singh the first reigned.
