About Brahma Temple, Pushkar : Pushkar, a city in Rajasthan, well-known for world's most popular cattle fair. It is also famous as pilgrimage centre. The Brahma temple is also an important hindu pilgrimage place in Pushkar, Rajasthan. The floor is decorated with silver turtle and it is built with marble. There are about more than 400 temples in Pushkar. Some other hindu temples are Varah Temple, Savitri Temple, Rangji Temple, Apteshwar Temple, etc.
About 500 temples are here, encircling Pushkar sarowar (lake). Main temples are described below.
Savitri temple : It is located on the hill, having panoramic view of Pushkar Lake and town. Goddess Savitri is the first wife of God Brahma.
Rangji temple : The architecture is south Indian, having gopuram. A must see temple.
Warah temple : God Vishnu lives here, the incarnation is wild boar.
Apteshwar temple : Lord Shiva lives here, a must see temple of 12th century.
